Highlighted by a 3.5 mile haunted course packed with 25+ Xtreme obstacles and our “Undead” cast and crew, you’ll have to conquer your fears as well as the elements to complete this race! We will also feature a “Battle of the Bands” at our Xtreme MusicFest and Costume Party with 20 great bands on 2 stages, contests with prizes including awards for best and worst individual and team costumes, and of course plenty of great food will be available all day, along with a full beer garden!

The MudSpooktacular Run will be benefiting American Recreational Military Services (A.R.M.S.). Led by an amazing group of 325 dedicated volunteers, New Jersey based A.R.M.S. has been helping our service men and women overseas since 2003 by sending them much needed supplies. They also offer support on many levels to the military families left here at home including financial aid assistance, meals and even holiday gifts for their children.
Unfortunately, donations have decreased over the past couple years due to the recession and A.R.M.S. is now struggling to achieve their goals of reaching out to every single tri-state area service member currently deployed.
With the holidays fast approaching, every dollar of our donations will be put to great use. Please consider making a donation during registration. UNDEAD CAST MEMBER
Not ready to Conquer MudManX? Join the “Undead Army!” As a member of our Undead, you’ll become part of a specialized group of assasins, bent on scaring the life out of your victims. Working with your fellow walking dead, you’ll position yourself strategically throughout the race course, instilling fear in runners and keeping them from achieving their goal of crossing the finishing line while still a member of the living.

LAKEWOOD— Some ran through bravely, with their teeth clenched and their arms outstretched. Others opted to crawl, digging their bodies into the muddy water.

Either way, it was hard to avoid the dangling live electrical wires at the “Lightning Shocker,” one of several obstacles thrown at those who competed in the first MudManX event in Lakewood on Sunday.

“If you’re going to crawl, put that face in the dirt!” barked U.S. Army Sgt. Theodore Berry at a participant, before turning to an observer. “This is a lot of fun.”

The race is fast approaching and I am sure that there are tons of you that are going to both look great and intense and we will do our best to capture as many struggling and fun photos of our athletes as we can. You will see a bunch of official Mud Man X photographers on the course, pose if you want, ham it up, we love that, or just go about your run naturally. We will also have finishline photos available for sale on location at the stadium and will also have them available online after.

I hope all of you out there have been taking advantage of this amazing weather. And by taking advantage we meaning getting your tails out there and sweating off your winter weight. MudManX Jersey shore will be here before you know it, 52 days if you are scoring at home, and you don’t want to embarrass yourself out there with the other crazy mud soaked competitors. The early registration just ended but there is a solid month of regular priced registration so take a minute and sign up, or send a friend a personal invitation to run with you. There is no bonding event that can match an adventure run.

Happy Holidays to all our MudMen and MudWomen! We are excited to let you all know that MudManX Jersey Shore is set to take place during the first week of May, 2012. The official date and corresponding information will be available within the next few weeks as we are required to file new contracts, permits, etc. after the first of the new year. The location will remain at First Energy Park in Lakewood, NJ and we’ve already been in contact with Tough Builders to make this event even bigger than before with the addition of more Xtreme obstacles. Rest assured that we are absolutely committed to making this a world class event for all of you that have stood behind us and you will not be disappointed with the final product!

In a couple of days, MudManX will be coming to the Jersey Shore. This exciting event will be held at First Energy Park, Home of the Lakewood Blue Claws in Lakewood, NJ.

95.9 The WRAT will be broadcasting live on race day! The Rat Rocks, and now they Mud Run too. Come watch the WRAT TEAM and all the adventure racers conquer the elements. There will be an X-Treme Aftermath party with prizes and give always. Gotts will be on hand making a fool of himself, as well as everyone’s favorite WRAT girl, Melissa. Get this, we talked her into tapping a fire hydrant to wash down all the muddy runners.
